Windjammers

Windjammers is an arcade game released by Data East and published by SNK Corporation. The initial release was 1994, because of the popularity among people the developers republished the Windjammers with some changes on August 29, 2017. This version is released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation vita. The new version has New HD menus.

The game can be played in single player or in multiplayer mode. You must have good listening skill in order to play the game. The game is similar to badminton, that is for a single match you and your opponent come in face to face with each other. Sharpen your throwing and sliding skills, use the best techniques to defeat your opponents, and become the world’s best player 

In this game you have to continuously shoot a disc at the goal zone. While your opponent attempting hit the disc. If anyone loosing a shoot the opponent gets score. The game can be played against the computer or in a 2 player versus.

Windjammers Game Modes

There are 5 game modes available. The fives are arcade, infinite, local versus, online quick match, & ranked match. You will get 6 playable environments, from sunny beach to crowded stadium. The environments are Beach, Lawn, Tiled, Concrete, Clay and Stadium.

Windjammers Gameplay

There are 6 unique characters with their own special skills and super throws. You can select anyone from the list based on the skill. The game zone is divided in to three sections. The top and bottom boundary has 3 scores while center boundary has 5 scores. The boundary score is changed according to environments. 

You hit the disc to other side, the opponent try to shoot the same disc, if he missed a shoot and the disc hits on the top or bottom boundary you will get 3 scores. For stage one the winning score is 12. Who gets the 12 scores firstly he wins.
